Luncheon with Senator Norm Coleman

     The Duluth Chapter will be attending the Law Day 2008 Luncheon featuring Speaker Senator Norm Coleman on Friday, May 2, at 12:00 Noon, Holiday Inn - Duluth. The cost is $15 payable to 11th District Bar (to be paid at the door).

     RSVPs accepted by Director of Duluth Chapter through Monday, April 28. A head count will be turned in on Tuesday, April 29.

     The Chapter will continue its Spring membership drive through April.

American Heart Association Start! Walking Day

     Our April meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16. Wear your walking shoes as we participate in the American Heart Association Start! Walking Day. Contact the Chapter Director for details.

     All month long Duluth will be having its Spring membership drive; its goal is to hand deliver 200 American Meadows 'Grow with Us' seed packets with MPA personalization to local paralegals.

The Minnesota Paralegal Association does not endorse or make referrals to any legal service providers.  We strongly recommend that persons in need of legal services seek the advice of an attorney. At the present time, Minnesota has no minimum qualifications for persons calling themselves paralegals. The risk to the consumer of using such a person to provide legal services, without attorney oversight, is very high.  
The Minnesota State Bar Association offers attorney referrals as do both the Hennepin and Ramsey County Bar Associations.
