MPA Sectionals : Health Law The MPA Health Law Sectional meets quarterly on the fourth Tuesday of the month: January, April, July, October.
We always meet at McKesson, starting at 11:30 with the meeting and optional cafeteria access at 11:15. Meetings feature guest speakers and/or discussions. Audio conference call is available for remote guests.
Experts thus far have spoken on the CMS bid process for durable medical equipment and HIPAA. Members range from paralegal students to paralegals with 20+ years experience in the field.

We strongly recommend that persons in need of legal services seek the advice of an attorney. At the present time, Minnesota has no minimum qualifications for persons calling themselves paralegals. The risk to the consumer of using such a person to provide legal services, without attorney oversight, is very high. The Minnesota State Bar Association offers attorney referrals as do both the Hennepin and Ramsey County Bar Associations. |
