Topic: How to Make the Court's Job Easier
Attorney Jennifer Shabel will be speaking from the perspective of a former law clerk as to the ways law offices, and specifically paralegals, can make the Court's job easier, as it relates to various areas of law (criminal, civil, family, etc.).
Speaker: Jennifer Shabel
Ms. Shabel is an attorney at Ryan and Grinde, Ltd. Her interest in practicing law comes from a desire to make a positive impact in people’s lives. She brings a unique perspective as she spent two years clerking for the Honorable Kathy M. Wallace in Olmsted County. Her experience as a law clerk gives her valuable insight into the legal process.
Prior to joining Ryan & Grinde, Ltd., Ms. Shabel attended the University of St. Thomas School of Law where she graduated cum laude. She attended college at Jacksonville State University in the state of Alabama where she graduated summa cum laude and was invited to join the Phi Beta Kappa honors society and Alpha Kappa Delta sociology honor society. She may be a transplant to Minnesota, but she is happy to call the city of Rochester home.
