This presentation will provide a general overview of the practice of elder law, including Medical Assistance do’s and don’ts, public benefits, special needs trusts, and guardianship and conservatorship. Learn about the essentials of the practice and what you need to know to assist clients.
Speaker: Jessica Timmington Lindstrom, Attorney at Law, Winthrop & Weinstine
Jessica is an attorney practicing with the Trusts and Estates group at Winthrop & Weinstine with a specialty in Elder Law. She is the current chair of the Hennepin County Lawyers New Lawyers Section, the treasurer for the National Academy of Elder Law Attornerys (NAELA) MN Chapter, and also serves as the treasurer for the Minnesota Association for Guardianship and Conservatorship (MAGiC). When not practicing law, Jessica can be found at Lake Vermilion with her husband, training her rescued dogs, volunteering for A Rotta Love Plus dog rescue, or competing nationally with her American Saddlebred horses.
