A review of The Minnesota Rules of Professional Conduct as they apply to Paralegals.
Amy Halloran joined the Minnesota Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility in August 2015 as an Assistant Director. As an Assistant Director at the OLPR, Ms. Halloran is responsible for investigating and prosecuting allegations of lawyer misconduct and enforcing the Minnesota Rules of Professional Conduct.
Ms. Halloran received her B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point. She was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant and served in the United States Army from 2004 to 2009. She deployed as a platoon leader to Iraq in 2006, and in 2008 worked for the United States Corps of Engineers in Kuwait. Upon returning to Minnesota after active duty, Ms. Halloran joined the Minnesota National Guard. She commanded the Headquarters and Headquarters Support Company, 84th Troop Command in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Ms. Halloran received her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in 2012. After admission to the Minnesota Bar, she worked as an associate attorney at a Twin Cities law firm representing employers and insurers in workers’ compensation administrative proceedings.
