Topic: Intersections with Immigration: What Individuals Working in Family Law Should Know

The presentation is about the intersection of basic family law and basic immigration law. We cover a variety of topics, including different statuses and the effect those statuses can have on people's ability to divorce and obtain financial support. We speak about a variety of topics related to marriages and adoptions involving people outside the United States. Finally, we discussed some practical tips for working with immigrant clients.
